  • All 20 playoff and Play-In spots are decided ahead of the final day of the regular season
  • There’s still seedings to be decided, however, which could have a considerable impact on the playoff picture
  • Read below for Sunday’s NBA player props and best bets

April 10th is the final day of the 2021-22 NBA regular season, and there’s plenty yet to be decided in the standings. Milwaukee is expected to rest many of its core players against the Cavaliers, making them underdogs, which could open the door for the Celtics to take the two seed in the Eastern Conference. Boston faces a Grizzlies team which blew out the Pelicans on Saturday.

Philadelphia is in the mix too, and it will be interesting to see if Joel Embiid takes the court after a mammoth Saturday performance against the Pacers. Philly is a heavy favorite over the Pistons, and they need a win to potentially move up to third.

While the Play-In seeds are locked in out west, there’s some intrigue in the three and four spots with the potential for the Warriors and Mavericks to swap places. Golden State faces a New Orleans team with nothing to play for, while the Mavs are favored by 9.5 against a Spurs team stuck in 10th. Dallas has to win and hope Golden State loses to move up to three.

Odds as of Apr 10 at FanDuel Sportsbook.

Only a few teams have player props available at the time of writing such is the uncertainty over player availability.

Kevin Durant, one of the early season favorites in NBA MVP odds, has the highest points line of the night at 31.5.

LaMelo Ball Points and Assists

LaMelo Ball has passed this points and assists line in six of his last seven. He’s facing a Wizards defense which ranks 25th in the NBA over the last five games, and has absolutely nothing to play for on the final day of the season. Bradley Beal, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis are all out.

Ball has been the driving force of the Hornets’ late season push. He put up 32 points and 10 dimes the last time he faced the team from the capital, and has a higher assist rate that Dejounte Murray, Draymond Green and Cade Cunningham over the last 10 games.

Only the Celtics have a better offensive rating than the Hornets since the All-Star break. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Charlotte cruise past the 120 mark on Sunday, and another big game from LaMelo is an inevitability.

  • Pick: LaMelo Ball over 31.5 points and assists (-102)

Darius Garland Total Points

In the competition to finish third in the Eastern Conference, the Bucks are expected to hold out their key men against the Cleveland Cavaliers, who still have plenty to play for in the congested Play-In picture.

Darius Garland gets to attack a Milwaukee defense likely without Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo, and the return of Evan Mobley opens up so much for Garland in the pick-and-roll.

Garland has passed this points line in each of his last two. He’s got up 48 field goal attempts across those two contests. Cleveland is motivated to win, and as has been the case all season, Garland is at the controls of this offense. We’ve seen him become more of a scorer as the season has gone on, with those skills set to be exhibited again on Sunday.

We could see some lopsided scores on the final day. Milwaukee won’t be gutted to lose this one, while a victory is particularly important for the Cavs. The circumstances point towards a big game from Garland — take this points over.

  • Pick: Darius Garland over 25.5 points (-108)
