Norris’ Senators have been playing well lately against teams who sit outside the playoff picture, going 4-2 in their last six games against such opponents. While they’ve found some scoring, going over the total in four of their last five games, goalie Anton Forsberg has been perhaps the most pleasant surprise of the Sens season.
Ottawa’s number one netminder has a .930 save percentage in his last seven games and the Senators are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games when Forsberg is in goal. He’s expected to get the start on Tuesday against Montreal which would definitely help the Senators get a victory.
