Odds as of April 16th at DraftKings.

We’ll start our player props card with one of those aforementioned secondary pieces in Brooklyn’s Seth Curry, who has a few things working against him in his matchup against the Celtics.

Pick #1: Seth Curry Under 4.5 Rebounds and Assists

First and foremost, the Boston defense is a nightmare to play against. Not only do they rank first in the NBA in defensive rating, but they also yield the fewest assists per game and are the fourth best rebounding team.

Despite playing heavy minutes, Curry has the tendency to disappear in games where Durant and Irving and both playing. That’s because Brooklyn’s two stars need the ball in their hands whenever they’re on the floor, which reduces Curry to a spot up jump shooter. In his last outing, Curry failed to record a point or an assist, despite playing 34 minutes.

With KD and Irving on the floor Curry’s usage rate is only 16.8%. Remove them from the court and that number climbs to 23.1%. Unfortunately for him, the Nets dynamic duo played 42 minutes a piece in the Play-In Tournament, and project for a similar amount of minutes on Sunday in a game where Brooklyn is a 4.5-point underdog.

Pick: Seth Curry Under 4.5 Rebounds and Assists (-115)

Pick #2: Jae Crowder Under 10.5 Points

Our second target is another secondary piece in Phoenix’s Jae Crowder. The Suns forward has an over/under points props of 10.5 against the Pelicans, despite not eclipsing that mark in five straight games and in his eight of his past nine overall.

Crowder is shooting just 39.9% from the floor this season, his lowest percentage in three years. He’s taken more than eight shots just once in his past nine games, and there’s a strong chance he doesn’t reach his normal allotment of minutes on Sunday.

That’s because the Suns are 10.5-point favorites, and if this game gets out of hand Crowder won’t play much in the fourth. In Phoenix’s last three victories of 11 or more points, the 31-year-old has seen an average of only 24.3 minutes per contest.

Pick: Jae Crowder Under 10.5 Points (-135)
